Sales Development Representative (POS & Payments – Restaurants & Hospitality)

Zavo is one of the fastest-growing AI-native point-of-sale and payments companies in the UK, built to automate the future of in-person commerce for restaurants and hospitality businesses.

Restaurants should focus on food, service, and guests — not juggling legacy POS systems, slow payments, and manual operations. Traditional POS and payment providers are expensive, fragmented, and outdated. Zavo brings POS, payments, and AI automation together in one modern platform, built specifically for restaurants.

We’re growing our London team and are looking for experienced SDRs who have sold POS and payments before and know how to speak to restaurant operators.

What You’ll Do

Location: Hybrid (London)

Salary: Competitive base + uncapped commission

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound cold calls and outreach to restaurants and hospitality businesses
• Sell and position POS and card payments solutions to decision-makers
• Qualify leads and book meetings for Sales Managers and field sales
• Confidently handle objections around pricing, switching POS, and payments
• Maintain accurate CRM data and log all activity and outcomes
• Continuously improve scripts, talk tracks, and outreach strategies
• Share insights on competitor POS systems, pricing models, and merchant objections

• Proven experience selling POS and/or card payment solutions
• Confident with cold calling and outbound sales
• Strong objection-handling and consultative selling skills
• Target-driven and comfortable working to daily and weekly KPIs
• Coachable, disciplined, and resilient

Background (Required)

• Previous experience selling POS and payments (required)
• Experience selling to restaurants or hospitality businesses
• Fluent in English
• Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
