The Role:

We are looking for an experienced Head of Probate to lead our Wills and Probate practice in Manchester. This is a senior role, perfect for someone with a strong track record in managing complex estates, trusts, and probate matters, who is comfortable advising high-net-worth clients and leading a team.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage complex probate cases, including multi-jurisdictional estates and high-value trusts
  • Advise clients on estate planning, administration, and succession strategies
  • Lead and mentor a team of probate specialists, ensuring high standards of service and compliance
  • Build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth individuals, executors, trustees, and family members
  • Liaise with tax advisors, financial planners, and legal professionals on complex estates
  • Ensure all work is delivered efficiently, accurately, and in line with regulatory requirements
  • Drive continuous improvement and best practices within the probate team


Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in Wills, Probate, and Trusts, particularly dealing with complex and high-value estates
  • Proven ability to manage and lead a team of professionals
  • Strong understanding of UK probate law, estate administration, and tax implications
  • Experience advising high-net-worth clients with discretion and professionalism
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and client management skills
