Job description

Organisational Development Capability Partner

Location: Hybrid with travel between London & Bexhill

Sector: Insurance / Financial Services

Salary: £80K+ and Benefits

About the Role

A leading digital-first insurer is embarking on a major transformation to become the most innovative and customer-centric player in the market. As part of this journey, the Finance function (80+ FTE) is implementing cutting-edge ERP and Financial Data Mesh (FDM) solutions to automate processes and unlock strategic insight.

To ensure this transformation succeeds, we are seeking an Organisational Development Capability Partner to act as the people architect—bridging the gap between technology and human change. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future operating model, workforce capability, and colleague experience during a high-impact digital programme.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the people and capability strategy for a complex finance technology transformation.
  • Analyse current ways of working and design future operating models aligned to digital ambitions.
  • Drive upskilling, reskilling, and career framework alignment to support long-term readiness.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders across Finance, HR, CIO, Operations, and external partners (including systems integrators and Workday).
  • Champion a colleague-centric culture, ensuring change is delivered with empathy and clarity.

What We’re Looking For

  • Extensive experience as an OD and learning practitioner, ideally within large-scale transformation.
  • Proven ability to deliver end-to-end technology and human change programmes.
  • Strong consultancy skills—able to simplify complexity and influence strategic decisions.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
  • Commercial and analytical mindset, using data to shape decisions and measure impact.
  • Expertise in change leadership, digital enablement, and future workforce planning.
  • Collaborative and agile approach, thriving in fast-paced environments.

Why Join?

This is a high-profile role at the heart of a major digital transformation, offering the chance to make a lasting impact on organisational capability and culture. You’ll work with senior leaders and cutting-edge technology to shape the future of work in a dynamic, forward-thinking sector.
