Regional Clinical Lead (Midlands)

Cognivate is an independent interdisciplinary neurorehabilitation service supporting adults with acquired brain injury in their homes and communities. We are launching a new Midlands branch and are seeking an experienced HCPC-registered clinician (NP, OT, PT or SLT) to lead and grow the service.

This role combines leadership, service development and a small clinical caseload, with strong support from our established South-East team, Clinical Director and Chief Operating Officer.


Key ResponsibilitiesService Leadership
  • Develop and manage a new Midlands interdisciplinary team.
  • Build relationships with case managers, referrers and partner organisations.
  • Lead recruitment and onboarding of therapists.
  • Oversee service quality, governance, risk management and reporting.
  • Chair regular online clinical meetings and in-person service development sessions.
Clinical Duties
  • Hold a modest caseload within community-based neurorehabilitation.
  • Provide clinical supervision to therapists in your discipline.
  • Contribute to interdisciplinary assessments, rehabilitation planning and review.
  • Participate in training, CPD and clinical evaluation projects.
Operational Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Clinical Director and COO on service planning.
  • Support operational processes including scheduling, enquiries, quotes and reporting.
  • Help shape local systems and pathways as the service grows.
About You
  • HCPC-registered clinician (NP, OT, PT or SLT).
  • Significant experience in community-based neurorehabilitation.
  • Strong leadership and service development skills.
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
  • Experience supervising therapists or trainees.
  • Knowledge of the private or medicolegal sector is beneficial but not essential.
