Demand Planner
Permanent | Woking (Hybrid 2–3 Days On-Site)
£36,000–£42,000 per annum
We’re working with a leading consumer goods business that operates across multiple sales channels, supplying fresh products to customers nationwide. As part of continued growth, they’re looking for a Demand Planner to join their collaborative and fast-moving planning team.
This is a great opportunity for someone with prior demand planning or forecasting experience who’s looking to develop in a hands-on, commercially focused role. You’ll work closely with teams across supply chain, operations, and commercial to ensure accurate forecasts, effective stock management, and excellent product availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain accurate demand forecasts across multiple channels, factoring in promotional activity, product launches, and seasonal trends
- Monitor performance against key KPIs including availability, waste, and forecast accuracy
- Work closely with procurement and production to ensure material and capacity planning align with demand requirements
- Support the launch and transition of new products, ensuring smooth forecasting and supply continuity
- Analyse sales and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Produce clear and actionable insight reports to share with internal stakeholders
- Contribute to continuous improvement of planning processes and systems, driving efficiency and accuracy
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain coordination, ideally within a fast-paced consumer products or manufacturing environment
- Strong Excel skills; familiarity with tools such as Power BI or Power Query an advantage
- Confident working with large data sets and translating information into actionable recommendations
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across teams
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
- A proactive problem solver who enjoys working collaboratively to deliver results
