SDR Team Lead - #3495299

Dynamic Search Solutions is looking for an SDR Team Lead - #3495299 in Manchester Area

Job description

Job Title: Sales Development Representative (SDR) Team Leader

Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)

Salary: £35,000 (plus £10,000–£15,000 commission)

The Company

This MSP is looking for an experienced Sales Development Representative ready to step into a leadership position or an SDR who is already mentoring/coaching peers. The role combines hands-on pipeline development and sales outreach with the opportunity to lead, coach, and guide a team of SDRs. It’s ideal for someone who has successfully run their own desk, can handle senior-level conversations, and is confident navigating complex technology or managed service solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of SDRs, ensuring consistent performance, professional development, and effective outreach.
  • Manage inbound and marketing-generated leads, qualifying them into opportunities or meetings for the sales team.
  • Research and profile strategic target accounts, identifying decision-makers, challenges, and business requirements.
  • Deliver multi-channel outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to book meetings, demos, and events.
  • Develop outreach strategies, advise SDRs on messaging, and monitor performance and lead quality.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure smooth handoff to sales colleagues.
  • Review team performance, metrics, and progress with senior leadership on an ongoing basis.

Your Skills & Experience

  • Previous success as an SDR, ideally within technology, digital services, MSP, or SaaS environments.
  • Strong communication skills; confident, personable, and able to engage senior stakeholders (CTOs, Heads of IT).
  • Excellent market research and commercial awareness to identify customer pain points and propose solutions.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading others, formally or informally.
  • Proficient CRM user (Salesforce experience advantageous).
  • Comfortable in consultative discussions with mid-market or enterprise organisations.
  • Demonstrated career stability and growth mindset.
  • Degree is welcome but not essential - attitude, curiosity, and ability are key.
  • Familiarity with Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, or similar market intelligence tools is a plus.

Company Benefits

  • Clear progression from SDR → Account Manager → Senior Account Manager → Account Director.
  • Hands-on leadership opportunities without leaving your sales craft behind.
  • Development-focused culture with mentorship and coaching.
  • Strategic selling environment with targeted outreach, not high-volume cold-calling.
  • Hybrid working with 3 days in the Manchester office, 2 days remote.
  • Commission on meetings secured, plus additional incentives for opportunities converting into deals.
  • Opportunity for higher salary for exceptional candidates.
  • Supportive team structure and ongoing career development.
