About Us

Luke Ayling Football Academy delivers high-quality coaching for motivated young players, focusing on technical development, confidence and enjoyment. We are expanding our Harrogate programme and are looking for an experienced, energetic coach to join our evening coaching team.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable, enthusiastic coach who can deliver dynamic, high-tempo sessions to a high standard for groups aged 5–14 years.

You will

• Provide clear, positive feedback to support individual development
• Ensure a safe and enjoyable training environment
• Drive standards passionately and positively
• Work closely with academy staff to maintain high standards

Hours

This role is ideal for someone with a full-time job who wants additional evening coaching work.

Monday evenings – Elite Performance Centre

High-level, focused training environment for advanced players.

Friday evenings – Academy sessions

Structured, enjoyable sessions for our academy players.

Sessions typically run between 5–9pm. This role is approximately 4 hours/week - additional hours may be available during camps and events.

Pay

From £25 per hour +, depending on experience.

Requirements

Essential:

• DBS check requirement
• Experience coaching youth players
• Outstanding communication and session-delivery skills
• Reliable, punctual and organised
• Energetic coaching manner

Preferred:

• UEFA B Licence (or working towards
• Safeguarding & First Aid certifications
• Experience in academy or development environments
