HR Business Partner – Leading Brokerage

London | £60,000–£80,000

This role suits an HR professional with solid financial services experience who thrives in fast-paced, commercially driven settings. Our client, a well-established and growing brokerage in the City, is looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join their collaborative HR function and play a key role in shaping people strategy across the business.

The Role

As HR Business Partner, you’ll act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders and front-office teams, providing strategic and operational HR support. You’ll have exposure to a broad generalist remit, including:

• Partnering with managers on organisational design, workforce planning and talent development
• Leading on employee relations, performance management and coaching
• Supporting recruitment strategies and driving best-in-class onboarding
• Working with leadership on culture, engagement and people experience initiatives
• Contributing to HR projects across learning, wellbeing, DEI, and policy development
• Ensuring policies and processes align with regulatory and industry standards

About You

We’re looking for an HR professional who brings:

• Experience in financial services (brokerage, trading, asset management or banking preferred)
• A strong generalist background with confidence managing ER matters
• Ability to influence stakeholders in a fast-paced, commercially driven environment
• A proactive mindset, high attention to detail and strong communication skills
• CIPD qualification (Level 5+ desirable)
