Child And Adolescent Psychiatrist - ADHD

£400 - £460 per ADHD Assessment - (90 minutes)

Hybrid Working

Flexible working hours

Clinic located in Central London

Essential:

Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited UK or international institution.
Full UK medical registration (GMC licence to practise) and appropriate licence to prescribe.
Completion of Psychiatry training with a recognised UK-approved training programme in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
Demonstrated experience diagnosing and managing ADHD in children and adolescents within UK healthcare or private practice settings.
Strong understanding of UK ADHD clinical pathways, comorbid conditions, safeguarding responsibilities and multi-agency working.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments including developmental history, behavioural and emotional evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and where relevant, liaise with schools and external professionals.
Diagnose ADHD and comorbid conditions according to current diagnostic standards (e.g., ICD-11, relevant NHS/UK guidelines).
Develop individualised treatment plans combining medication management, behavioural or psychological interventions, psychoeducation, and where needed, referrals to therapy or specialist services.
Monitor patient progress through regular follow-ups, medication reviews, and assess treatment effectiveness and side-effects.
Provide risk assessments and crisis management when necessary.
