Business Development Specialist – Energy & Construction

About the Role

We're looking for a relationship-driven, opportunity-spotting, Business Development Specialist with a hunter/seeker personality who thrives in dynamic, evolving markets. This role is ideal for someone who understands the complexity of the energy sector and enjoys creating connections that lead to long-term strategic wins.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities across Energy & Construction markets.

• Provide lead generation through active cold calling.

• Develop compelling proposals tailored to client challenges and goals.

• Build and nurture client relationships to drive long-term partnerships

• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to align solutions with customer needs.

• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions.

• Maintain accurate forecasting and CRM reporting.

What You Bring

• Proven success in business development within the Energy and/or Construction sectors.

• Strong commercial acumen and the ability to spot emerging opportunities.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

• Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and leading conversations.

• Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
