Sales Trainer
Manchester (Office-Based)
Up to £45,000 per annum
Are you passionate about empowering sales teams to reach their full potential? We’re looking for a dynamic Sales Trainer to lead the design and delivery of impactful training programs that drive performance, boost productivity, and elevate our sales function to the next level.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the capability and confidence of a fast-paced sales team, reporting directly to the Head of Digital Sales.
About the Role
As Sales Training Manager, you’ll take ownership of the full sales training lifecycle — from onboarding and skills development to ongoing coaching and performance improvement. Your goal is simple: to build a world-class sales team through structured, engaging, and results-focused training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and Quality & Compliance Assessor to design and deliver engaging induction training for new hires.
- Develop and implement an ongoing training calendar to continuously enhance sales performance and effectiveness.
- Identify and address individual training needs to improve results across the team.
- Deliver Salesforce CRM training, ensuring all team members are confident, efficient, and up to date on system developments.
- Review and refresh training materials in partnership with the Sales Manager to reflect changing business priorities.
- Track and evaluate training effectiveness against business goals, providing recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain accurate training records and report progress monthly to senior stakeholders.
- Partner closely with management and compliance to identify performance trends, training gaps, and development opportunities.
- Provide constructive feedback and insights to help shape a high-performing sales culture.
What You’ll Bring
- Proven experience designing and delivering impactful sales training within a telephone-based B2B environment.
- A strong track record of improving performance and achieving measurable results.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM (essential).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to inspire, motivate, and engage others.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to work effectively under pressure.
- Confident in creating engaging training materials and adapting content for diverse audiences.
- Outgoing, energetic, and professional with a passion for developing people.
