Business Development Executive – Protective Packaging (Dangerous Goods)

Location: Clevedon, Bristol

Salary: £27,000 base + performance bonus

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join our team in Clevedon, Bristol. This role focuses on generating new business, conducting face-to-face client meetings, and providing support with protective packaging for dangerous goods, including logistics coordination.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for:

• Identifying, targeting, and securing new business opportunities
• Managing your own pipeline of prospects and converting leads into long-term customers
• Conducting on-site visits to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions
• Promoting and selling specialist protective packaging for dangerous goods
• Providing technical packaging support (full training provided)
• Coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth delivery of products
• Building strong, ongoing customer relationships through high-quality service

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

• Be driven, confident, and motivated by winning new business
• Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Be comfortable meeting clients face-to-face and presenting solutions
• Be able to understand technical products and compliance considerations (training provided)
• Have previous experience in business development or sales (packaging/logistics experience is a plus)
• Hold a full UK driving licence (essential)
