Business Development Representative - Cornwall

Our client is a fast-growing consultancy helping organisations in advanced industrial and technology markets make better decisions using data and research. This is a strong opportunity for a driven graduate to build commercial skills and grow with a business on an exciting upward trajectory.

The Opportunity

This is a proactive, relationship-led role focused on starting conversations, understanding challenges, and identifying where insight and data services can add value. You’ll be developing confidence, commercial awareness and communication skills from day one.

• Researching target markets and identifying suitable organisations
• Speaking with prospective clients to understand challenges and priorities
• Coordinating discovery calls, briefings and product demonstrations
• Keeping CRM systems up to date with activity and opportunity details
• Working closely with marketing and sales to improve outreach

Training & Progression

• Structured onboarding and induction programme
• Guided training on products, markets and sales approach
• Ongoing one-to-one coaching and feedback
• Clear progression into Account Management or senior commercial roles

Salary & Benefits

• £28,000 - £32,000 base salary (depending on experience)
• Three-month training programme
• Uncapped commission scheme
• Hybrid role based in Falmouth
• 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
