Job description
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join a top-tier Am Law Corporate practice specialising in M&A and Private Equity Real Estate in London. This role offers the chance to work on some of the most complex and high-value private equity real estate transactions in the market, advising leading sponsors, fund vehicles, and corporate clients.
This position is ideal for a commercially minded associate who enjoys working on sophisticated, often cross-border deals and who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You will be given early responsibility, meaningful client exposure, and the opportunity to develop as a trusted adviser on landmark transactions.
Responsibilities
- Advise private equity sponsors, real estate funds, and corporate clients on complex private equity real estate transactions.
- Work on a broad range of matters including acquisitions, disposals, joint ventures, and strategic M&A transactions.
- Support transaction structuring and execution across domestic and cross-border deals.
- Draft and negotiate transaction documentation to a high standard.
- Collaborate with colleagues across corporate, finance, tax, and regulatory teams to deliver seamless advice.
- Manage multiple matters and deadlines while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
Qualifications
- England & Wales qualified (or equivalent), with a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
- Experience advising on private equity real estate, M&A, or complex corporate transactions.
- Strong academic background and excellent technical legal skills.
- Commercially astute with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Exceptional drafting, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to take on meaningful responsibility and work directly with senior lawyers and clients.
