We are instructed by a leading international law firm to recruit a Real Estate Finance Associate to join its well-established Real Estate Finance team in London. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-quality, complex transactions within a top-tier finance practice.


Department overview

  • Combined practice known for its commercial approach, technical strength and pragmatic solutions, with close collaboration across offices and practice areas to deliver an integrated international service
  • Well-established London team comprising a strong partner group, supported by a sizeable cohort of associates, trainees and paralegals


Role and responsibilities


  • Drafting, reviewing and negotiating finance documentation
  • Advising clients strategically in meetings and through written and verbal communication
  • Managing transactions efficiently and meeting client expectations
  • Contributing to business development initiatives and personal BD plans
  • Undertaking legal research and keeping up to date with market developments
  • Supervising junior lawyers and coordinating with other transaction parties


Key requirements


  • Qualified lawyer with 1–6 PQE
  • Strong technical knowledge of real estate finance and lending transactions
  • Proactive, detail-focused and intellectually curious approach
  • Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively
  • Strong client-handling and relationship-building skills
  • Experience working within a complex, international practice
