Salary: Up to £300,000 per year (commensurate with experience and grade)

About the Role

We are inviting applications from experienced Consultant and Senior Consultant Psychiatrists to join one of Singapore’s foremost tertiary academic hospitals, internationally recognised for excellence in mental health care, research, and postgraduate education.

This role offers exposure to a high-volume, specialist psychiatric service, with opportunities to practise across inpatient, outpatient, and community-based settings. The successful candidate will contribute to multidisciplinary mental health care, academic development, and service innovation within a world-class healthcare system.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level psychiatric assessment and management across inpatient and outpatient services
• Lead the care of patients with complex psychiatric and comorbid medical conditions
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams including psychology, social work, and allied health
• Supervise and mentor residents, fellows, and medical students
• Contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement, and service development
• Engage in teaching, CME, research, and academic initiatives as appropriate

✅ Candidate Requirements

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree
• Specialist qualification in Psychiatry (e.g. MRCPsych, CCT, American/Canadian Board, or equivalent)
• Eligibility for Specialist Registration with the Singapore Medical Council (SMC)
• Proven experience in consultant-level psychiatric practice
• Strong leadership, teaching, and communication skills
• Minimum 3 years’ post-specialist certification experience
