Solar Installer/Roofer

Location: London & South East England

Salary: Competitive

These positions are offered either as a contractor or permanent basis, and are not available on a self-employed basis.

Are you an experienced Installer/Roofer with an interest in renewable energy? We are seeking reliable and skilled workers to work on solar photovoltaic (PV) systems across various projects.

General Responsibilities

• Assemble and install solar panels, mounting structures, and associated components on roofs or other surfaces
• Prepare roofs and surfaces for installation, ensuring safety and structural integrity
• Work safely at height, following health & safety procedures and fall protection requirements
• Collaborate with electricians to ensure correct positioning and secure installation of systems
• Keep tools, equipment, and installation records organised and up to date

Requirements

• Proven experience in installation/roofing
• Full valid driving licence and willing to travel
• CSCS card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Relevant certifications would be beneficial
• Experience installing solar PV systems would be beneficial
