We are looking for an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive to join our Amersham Commercial Team. The successful candidate will inherit a substantial book of clients worth approximately £200,000 and will support business growth through proactive client service and new business development. This is a commercial insurance role, primarily covering property owners, construction, and manufacturing sectors. Experience in audio-visual insurance is desirable but not essential. The candidate must be willing to travel regularly to client sites. Highlight candidates’ commercial insurance experience, client management history, and business development achievements. Only candidates able to commute to London and the Home Counties for client visits should be submitted. Include confirmation of their regulatory knowledge (FCA, Consumer Duty) and system experience. Please note: the successful candidate will inherit a client book valued at approximately £200,000. Candidate Requirements Essential: Proven experience in commercial insurance, preferably as an Account Executive or Senior Account Executive. Strong client service and relationship management skills. Track record in business development or generating new client opportunities. Knowledge of insurance products, markets, and underwriting procedures. Ability to work independently and proactively manage a portfolio of clients. Strong organisational and communication skills. Willingness to travel regularly to client sites in London and the Home Counties. Desirable: CII/ACII qualification or willingness to study (full support provided). Familiarity with insurance systems such as Acturis. Experience in audio-visual insurance.
