We are recruiting a Head of Operations on behalf of a building services consultancy seeking to strengthen its senior leadership team.

The role will take ownership of operational performance across the business, ensuring effective delivery, strong commercial control, and scalable processes. Reporting to the Managing Director, the successful candidate will work closely with technical and commercial leads to drive efficiency and support growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead operational delivery across M&E consultancy disciplines
• Improve systems, processes, and performance metrics
• Oversee resourcing, forecasting, and project profitability
• Support senior managers and engineering resources
• Support strategic growth and client relationships

Candidate profile:

• Senior operational leadership experience within a building services or engineering consultancy
• Strong commercial awareness and delivery-focused mindset
• Background in M&E consultancy (technical or operational)
• Engineering Construction background advantageous

This role would suit an existing Operations Manager or an experienced Associate / Regional Director / Manager ready to step up.
