South West, England

£32,000 - £38,000pa


A variety of flexible working options between the hours of 7am - 6pm Monday - Friday (Compressed hours available)


Permanent Contract (Locum position also available)


Castlefield is proud to be working with a successful community service provider with the appointment of an Audiologist.


The successful Audiologist will be a dedicated and compassionate member of the healthcare team, and be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating hearing and balance disorders. This role offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing specialised audiological care within a professional environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments and diagnostic tests for adult services
  • Provide assessments for routine planned follow ups
  • Counsel patients and families on hearing health, treatment options, and device use
  • Provide hearing aid evaluations, fittings, and follow-up care
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
  • Stay current with advancements in audiology and hearing technology


Requirements

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Audiology (Au.D. Preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-first care
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
