The Fix are working with a multidisciplinary studio that are known for delivering captivating, genre defining experiences that engage audiences and transform spaces.

It is a “technical” production is because of the work they do - it is often led with scenic build / engineering? You must have this to apply.

So we would want to see some solid background in building large scale things in steel aluminium and fibreglass, have you done this?

Or some background in VM - building luxury window displays for example??

Our client works with some of the biggest luxury brands such as Chanel, Christian Dior, and Cartier and prominent retail destinations including London and Honk Kong

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Technical Production to help shape their flawless installations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical & production management, a deep understanding of design and construction processes, and a passion for creating extraordinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

◦ Join our senior management leadership team and bring your talent and passion to bear as we grow.

◦ Foster a culture of excellence, creativity, and collaboration.

◦ Develop the technical production team

◦ Work alongside the creative team and our Head of Events to ensure projects retain the creative vision and are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standards.

Project Management:

◦ Have oversight of multiple projects simultaneously, managing key project leads, detailed critical paths, budgets, and resources both internal and external.

◦ Collaborate closely with clients, creative team and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

◦ Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness while delivering exceptional quality.

◦ Provide regular financial reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior technical & production management role, delivering technical budgets in excess of £1.5m

• Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and technologies

• Excellent project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

• IOSH Qualification mandatory – NEBOSH Qualification preferred.

• Exceptional leadership abilities, with experience managing multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment.

• Outstanding communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and team members.

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

• Proficiency in project management software and tools.

• Professional qualification within CSCS preferred

• CDM 2015 awareness and understanding to ensure compliance in our role as Principal contractor and or Designer.
