The Role
Our client is seeking an Associate to join its Banking team in London, supporting complex financing transactions with an international dimension. This is a high-intensity, deal-driven practice suited to candidates who enjoy working at pace, taking ownership of workstreams, and contributing to market-leading transactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Supporting domestic and international banking transactions, including multi-jurisdictional financings
- Drafting, reviewing and amending finance and ancillary documentation with a strong focus on accuracy and clarity
- Assisting with due diligence exercises and summarising key findings for transaction teams
- Coordinating deal logistics and acting as a point of contact for clients, counterparties and advisers
- Preparing legal research and internal or client-facing memoranda on transactional issues
- Managing day-to-day aspects of transactions, ensuring deadlines and process milestones are met
- Working closely with senior lawyers to progress matters efficiently and commercially
Candidate Profile
- England & Wales qualified, or equivalent
- 1-5 PQE
- Experience advising on finance-related documentation such as credit agreements, bond or capital markets instruments, and corporate approvals
- Sound understanding of the legal and commercial risks in cross-border transactions
- Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills
