Associate, Banking & Finance - Top International Law Firm (1-5 PQE)

Our client is a top-tier international law firm advising corporates, financial institutions and public sector bodies on high-value, complex matters worldwide. The Role

Our client is seeking an Associate to join its Banking team in London, supporting complex financing transactions with an international dimension. This is a high-intensity, deal-driven practice suited to candidates who enjoy working at pace, taking ownership of workstreams, and contributing to market-leading transactions.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting domestic and international banking transactions, including multi-jurisdictional financings
• Drafting, reviewing and amending finance and ancillary documentation with a strong focus on accuracy and clarity
• Assisting with due diligence exercises and summarising key findings for transaction teams
• Coordinating deal logistics and acting as a point of contact for clients, counterparties and advisers
• Preparing legal research and internal or client-facing memoranda on transactional issues
• Managing day-to-day aspects of transactions, ensuring deadlines and process milestones are met
• Working closely with senior lawyers to progress matters efficiently and commercially

Candidate Profile

• England & Wales qualified, or equivalent
• 1-5 PQE
• Experience advising on finance-related documentation such as credit agreements, bond or capital markets instruments, and corporate approvals
• Sound understanding of the legal and commercial risks in cross-border transactions
• Excellent drafting, communication and organisational skills
