Head of Client Operations

£62,500 | London (Hybrid) | Leadership Consultancy

We're recruiting for a successful leadership consultancy that's scaling. They already have an established strong client base and now they're executing an ambitious five-year growth plan. They need someone to ensure their operations scale with the same quality that got them here.

The opportunity

As their first Head of Client Operations, you'll report to the Managing Director with accountability for client delivery. You'll build the systems, lead the team, and create the infrastructure for sustainable growth.

Your remit:

• Lead end-to-end client delivery operations across a growing portfolio
• Manage the client operations team of 3
• Coordinate a network of 40+ facilitators and coaches
• Design scalable processes, planning cycles, and operational tools
• Drive efficiency and maintain exceptional client experience
• Contribute to business strategy as part of the extended leadership team

What they're looking for:

• 5-8 years in client operations or service delivery leadership (professional services, consultancy, training, or agency)
• Track record leading small operational teams and managing complex delivery
• Strong systems thinking with process design and improvement skills
• Experience coordinating external partner networks
• Excellent planning and resource management with sharp attention to detail
• Line management experience developing high-performing teams
• Commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills

The ideal candidate

They're looking for someone who brings calm to complexity. You're collaborative but own your decisions. You love building structure from ambiguity and refining what works. You're commercially minded without compromising quality, and you thrive in small, (sometimes chaotic) environments. Plus, you don't take yourself too seriously.
