Here at ISS, we are looking to develop our engineering leadership against the Retail Estate for a leading Banking client, with a truly major Estate spanning the UK, in the 100s of buildings.
We provide a mobile engineering maintenance service encompassing Mechanical, Electrical and Building Fabric plus small Projects.
Here, you would be the lead of this engineering operation, representing the team across the wider Account and to the customer.
Abiding by the strict contractual KPIs and SLAs, you will, in essence, take ownership of the engineering strategy and deliver.y
You would be responsible for ensuring that the UK Operation adheres to all governance, processes and procedures, while identifying and promoting opportunities that enhance ISS self-delivery capability.
This role will require extensive stakeholder engagement within the Account itself, but also across various central functions, and of course, the role is heavily customer-facing
This is a fantastic role for an established Engineering Leader, boasting a track record of high volume multi-site delivery, looking to progress onto one of the UK's leading FM contracts, working for a market leader in the built environment space.
Action will include:
- Technical and Operational Leadership: Provide technical and operational leadership to engineering teams, ensuring effective service delivery, adherence to best practices, and achievement of 100% uptime and compliance.
- Prioritise health and safety by ensuring all processes and procedures comply with relevant legislation, promoting a zero-accident culture, and driving continuous improvement in safety
- Management: Lead the implementation of the Process, ensuring all governance, processes, and procedures are followed to maintain high standards and minimise unplanned downtime.
- Manage vendor relationships and the engineering supply chain, conducting annual reviews, aligning with budget expectations, and identifying opportunities for cost efficiencies.
- Oversee risk control measures, support incident management processes, and ensure timely resolution of engineering-related risks, maintaining compliance with employer and contractual governance.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including the Account Integrated team and the client, to promote quality service delivery and effective communication
We need from you:
- An Engineering qualification(s) and background, plus extensive experience of leading engineering delivery within a multi-site operation
- An ability to engage with a wide variety of stakeholders
