Job Title: Mechanical Estimator

Location: Leighton Buzzard

Salary & Package:

Up to £60,000 DOE

Profit Share Scheme

20 days holiday + bank holidays

Free onsite parking

Travel between project sites fully covered

Role Overview:

My client is seeking a Mechanical Estimator to join their growing pre-construction team. You will be responsible for producing accurate, competitive estimates for mechanical building services projects across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare mechanical estimates from drawings and specifications
• Carry out take-offs for HVAC, pipework and public health services
• Issue enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors
• Analyse quotations and compile detailed cost proposals
• Identify value engineering opportunities
• Support tender submissions and client proposals

Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience estimating mechanical services in the UK construction market
• Good technical knowledge of HVAC and building services systems
• Strong numerical and analytical ability
• Ability to manage multiple tenders
• Estimating software experience preferred
• Full UK driving licence
