VP OF DATA STRATEGY AND TRANSFORMATION

THE ROLE

As a VP of Data Strategy & Transformation, you will shape and execute enterprise-level data strategies across a portfolio of high-growth financial technology businesses. You’ll work directly with executive leadership to assess, design, and deliver data-driven transformation initiatives that enhance scalability, compliance, and business performance.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following:

• Leading end-to-end data strategy and transformation programmes across multiple portfolio companies.
• Designing scalable cloud-based data architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Defining and implementing governance frameworks, data quality standards, and compliance processes (GDPR/CCPA).
• Advising C-level stakeholders on leveraging data to drive value creation and operational efficiency.
• Applying analytics and machine learning techniques to identify insights and growth opportunities.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful VP – Data Strategy & Transformation will have the following skills and experience:

• Proven track record in data strategy, transformation, or advisory within financial services, private equity, or top-tier consulting.
• Demonstrated success driving data-led value creation and transformation in complex organisations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills with executive-level audiences.
• Experience in modern cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Deep understanding of data governance, compliance, and scalable data infrastructure.

• Salary between £120,000 – £150,000, depending on years and quality of experience
