House Smart Surveying is a growing and ambitious residential surveying practice, and we are actively recruiting RICS Residential Surveyors across the UK to support our continued expansion.

The Role


This is a full-time position with flexibility for remote working and local patch-based surveying.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Undertaking RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys
  • Completing residential valuations where appropriately qualified
  • Inspecting residential properties and assessing condition, defects, and risks
  • Producing clear, accurate, and professional reports
  • Working closely with clients and other property professionals


What We’re Looking For


  • AssocRICS, MRICS, or FRICS qualified surveyors
  • VRS registration preferred (not essential for all roles)
  • Strong recent experience in Building Pathology
  • Residential valuation experience advantageous
  • Sound knowledge of building construction, regulations, and safety standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
  • Confident use of surveying tools and reporting software
  • Full UK driving licence
