Warehouse & Test Support Supervisor

Nixor is looking for an Warehouse & Test Support Supervisor in Watford

Job description

Warehouse & Test Support Supervisor

Are you organised, hands-on, and enjoy taking ownership of operations? We’re looking for a Warehouse & Test Support Supervisor to join our Test Department and play a key role in keeping stock, deliveries, and product testing running smoothly.

This is a varied and dynamic role – you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring samples and equipment are in the right place, at the right time, supporting the Test Technicians, and supervising a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and support a small team responsible for warehouse, yard, and test support operations.
  • Receive, handle, store, and distribute test samples, materials, and equipment efficiently.
  • Prepare samples and assist with the set-up of product testing, including heavy lifting and manual handling tasks.
  • Operate a forklift to move materials safely (or undertake training if needed).
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse, yard, and storage areas.
  • Coordinate deliveries, shipping, and collection of samples with suppliers, couriers, and external labs.
  • Keep accurate records of stock movements and sample management to support operational efficiency.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to make warehouse and test support operations smoother and more efficient.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Organised, proactive, and hands-on with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Forklift licence or willingness to train.
  • Experience in warehouse, logistics, stock management, or similar operations.
  • Good communication skills, able to liaise with colleagues, suppliers, and clients.
  • Basic IT skills (Word, Excel) to maintain records and reports.
  • Interest in supporting product testing and operational workflows is highly desirable.

Why Join Us:

  • Take ownership of an essential part of our testing operations and be a key contributor to our success.
  • Work in a varied environment – office, yard, warehouse, and test preparation – keeping every day interesting.
  • Develop your skills with forklift operation, warehouse management, and exposure to product testing processes.
  • Lead and support a small team, helping them grow while keeping operations running smoothly.
  • Be part of a professional, supportive team with opportunities to make a real impact.

If you’re hands-on, organised, and enjoy a role with variety, responsibility, and visible impact, this is the role for you.
