About the Role:

I am recruiting on behalf of my client for a Qualifying Supervisor in Peterborough, for an exciting opportunity in the electrical industry. This position is ideal for an organised, detail-oriented professional looking to ensure inspection and testing compliance. You will play a key role in supporting accurate reporting and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain systems that enhance the quality and professionalism of services, ensuring both technical and administrative aspects meet the highest industry standards.
• Ensure day-to-day operations comply with relevant legislative, regulatory, and accreditation body requirements.
• Oversee the ongoing calibration and usability of the Electrical Department's test equipment.
• Respond to complex technical queries from employees and clients, providing guidance and support where needed.
• Conduct post-audit inspections and certification reviews on completed works to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Review and monitor the work of field-based engineers, ensuring quality and accuracy are maintained in line with company expectations.

Key Skills & Attributes:

• In-depth knowledge of NICEIC compliance standards and accreditation processes
• Extensive industry experience, particularly in electrical work
• Minimum Level 3 electrical qualification
• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification
• Strong understanding of the Electricity at Work Regulations and relevant Codes of Practice
