Job description
Our client - A leading UK-based company at the forefront of sustainable infrastructure and renewable energy services. They specialise in the installation and maintenance of electric vehicle (EV) charging points. As a fully carbon-neutral organisation, they actively invest in renewable initiatives, dedicating a portion of profits to projects that promote sustainability and renewable infrastructure
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and summarise pricing opportunities within EV charging
- Prepare competitive bids and detailed proposals aligned with the company's strategy
- Collaborate with business development to define pricing strategy and market positioning
- Work closely with operations, commercial, and project teams to validate bids
- Engage with clients during tender phases to clarify the scope and resolve queries
- Develop detailed cost breakdowns covering materials, labour, plant, and subcontractors
- Maintain and update comprehensive Schedules of Rates for all service categories
- Produce internal handover documentation for awarded contracts
- Manage e-tendering platforms, ensuring timely, accurate submissions
- Maintain project data accuracy and reporting in internal systems
- Support continuous process improvements and ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Conduct post-tender reviews to capture lessons learned and improve future bid success
- Provide monthly reporting insights and tender pipeline updates
Essential Experience & Qualifications:
- Background in electrical engineering and construction, particularly within electrical utilities and telecoms sectors
- Proven experience with Distribution Network Operator (DNO), ICP, and EV infrastructure projects
- Commercially savvy with a solid understanding of pricing and cost structures in the market
- Skilled in Microsoft Office and general IT applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship available)
