Sales Development Representative - Cyber Security


About the company

  • High-growth cybersecurity business focused on simplifying security for mid-sized, regulated organisations
  • Provides 24/7 Managed SOC, vCISO services, compliance-led risk advisory, and security testing
  • Backed by new investment and led by a revitalised leadership team scaling across the UK and MEA
  • Supports organisations that lack in-house security teams or a full-time CISO
  • Building a high-performance commercial engine with clear progression as the business grows


About the role

  • Generate new business pipeline through consistent, high-volume outbound activity
  • Book 20+ qualified meetings per month using cold calling, email, and LinkedIn outreach
  • Execute outbound campaigns against targeted prospect lists and priority sectors
  • Qualify inbound leads from marketing and convert them into booked meetings
  • Accurately track activity and outcomes in HubSpot
  • Handle objections confidently and maintain resilience in a high-activity outbound role
  • Develop commercial understanding by joining handover calls and observing later-stage sales conversations
  • As capability grows, focus will shift towards improving meeting quality and qualification


Your previous experience

  • Proven experience in B2B outbound lead generation as an SDR or BDR
  • Comfortable with cold calling as a core part of your day-to-day
  • Coachable, adaptable, and able to adjust your approach based on feedback and results
  • Strong work ethic with a track record of consistent activity and output
  • Tech-savvy and confident using CRM and sales engagement tools (HubSpot experience ideal)
  • Cybersecurity experience is beneficial but not essential
  • Motivated by the opportunity to develop into more advanced sales or closing roles over time


Package

  • Base salary £35,000–£50,000 depending on experience
  • Bonus and commission structure aligned to meeting performance
  • Fully remote, UK-based (with occasional London meetups)
  • Clear progression into later-stage or closing sales as the business scales
