Core Responsibilities:
Sales & Client Engagement
- Proactively generate and qualify leads for residential solar and energy storage systems.
- Present our clear, per-watt pricing model to prospective clients, building trust through transparency.
- Educate homeowners on our full-service offerings, including:
- Hardware: Solar panels, inverters, batteries, EV chargers, and heat pumps.
- Services: Custom design, installation support, permitting assistance, and financing options.
- Manage the sales process from initial contact through to contract signing, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
Market Support & Lead Development
- Assist in identifying high-potential residential clients, with a focus on premium markets.
- Support senior team members in maintaining relationships with installation partners and distributors.
- Participate in local events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote our solutions.
Sales Coordination & Follow-Up
- Maintain accurate records of leads, customer interactions, and sales progress using CRM tools.
- Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure customer requirements are clearly communicated and met.
- Conduct follow-up communications to nurture leads and support customer decision-making.
Learning & Development
- Continuously build knowledge of solar PV, energy storage, and smart home technologies.
- Develop skills in explaining technical concepts (e.g., system sizing, ROI, energy savings) in simple, relatable terms.
- Embrace training on sales techniques, product updates, and market trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
Required Experience:
- 1–2 years of sales experience, preferably in residential solar, renewable energy, or related B2C fields.
- Exposure to high-value sales or customer-facing roles is a plus.
- Basic understanding of solar energy systems, batteries, or smart home technology is beneficial.
Key Competencies:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) is advantageous.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills are a bonus.
