Job Title: Specification Sales Manager (Remote)

Salary: £55K - £65K + Uncapped Commission (six figures realistic OTE)

Territory : South London (SW, SM, SE, BR, DA)


About the Client:

I am representing a leading company in the building envelope industry, specialising in metal cladding, roofing, and related systems. They are currently seeking an energetic and ambitious Sales Executive to join their team and support the growth of their core product lines. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who excels at building relationships, generating new business opportunities, and delivering engaging CPD presentations to clients and prospects.


Position Overview:

As a Sales Executive, you will play a vital role in driving sales across the designated territory while supporting both new and existing accounts.


Key Responsibilities:

New Business Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new opportunities within the specified geographical area, establishing strong relationships with contractors, architects, and other industry professionals.

Client Engagement: Schedule and deliver technical CPD presentations to clients, helping them understand product benefits and specifications, and supporting their decision-making processes.

Account Support: Maintain and develop relationships with existing clients, ensuring ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.

Product Knowledge & Technical Support: Develop a deep understanding of the client's metal cladding and roofing systems to effectively communicate technical benefits and specifications.

Market Development: Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to position the company as a trusted supplier of high-quality building envelope solutions.

Sales Administration: Support the sales process from quotation to order, including preparing proposals, following up with clients, and ensuring smooth order processing.

Territorial Management: Cover designated postcodes with a focus on expanding the company’s presence and securing key projects in the South London area.


What They Offer:

Competitive salary range of £55,000–£65,000, plus an attractive commission scheme starting at 2.5%, increasing up to 12%.

Guaranteed base pay with excellent earning potential through commission and bonuses.

Candidate Profile:

Proven experience in technical sales within the building envelope industry, especially in metal cladding, roofing, or similar products.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information clearly and confidently.

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel within the territory to meet clients, visit sites, and attend industry events.

Results-driven with a desire to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Candidates should be based in South London or surrounding areas, with the flexibility to travel across the territory.
