Role Overview

We are looking for a commercially driven Sales Assistant to support revenue growth across our restaurants and events business. The role focuses on supporting the Head of Business in generating and converting enquiries for private dining and events, while delivering an exceptional guest and client experience throughout the sales journey.


This is a hands-on hospitality sales role, suited to someone with experience in restaurants, events, or premium service environments who enjoys building relationships and closing business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting Head of Business with key sales admin tasks such as lead sourcing, event function sheets and pipeline management.
  • Proactively generate and qualify new sales leads for private dining and events
  • Present private dining rooms, menus, and event offerings in line with brand positioning
  • Manage the end-to-end booking process where needed, including pricing, contracts, and confirmations
  • Maintain a clear and accurate sales pipeline, tracking leads, activity, and conversions
  • Build strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and repeat bookers
  • Support the Head of Business with prospecting, reporting, and follow-up activity
  • Attend industry events and networking opportunities to develop new business
  • Consistently work towards and achieve agreed sales targets
  • Ensure a seamless handover from sales to operations, maintaining high guest experience standards


Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality sales, private dining, events, and/or restaurant reservations is ideal but not essential.
  • Confident handling sales conversations by phone, email, and in person
  • Comfortable negotiating pricing and closing deals
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail
  • Commercially minded with a proactive, results-focused approach
  • Professional, personable, and confident representing premium hospitality brands
  • Able to work independently while collaborating closely with senior team members
