Edenthorpe Search are exclusively assigned to support a leading financial technology company, providing real-time data, news, and sophisticated analytics to empower financial professionals in their investment decision-making. Our client offers a comprehensive suite of tools and services specifically focused on enhancing equity and fixed income trading activities. We are seeking a results-driven Head of Sales to spearhead the expansion across the EMEA, with the UK as the operational hub.
This is a dynamic opportunity for a seasoned sales leader to build and lead a high-performing team within a strategic and fast-growing market. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive new client acquisition and significant revenue growth across the UK & EMEA region.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with the company's overall growth objectives.
- Build and lead a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of collaboration and exceeding ambitious targets.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within diverse industry sectors, focusing on equity and fixed income trading professionals.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers in financial institutions, brokers and asset management firms.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations, effectively communicating the value proposition of our solutions.
- Oversee deal negotiations and ensure successful contract closures.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to refine the sales strategy.
- Contribute to the development and execution of regional marketing initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of successful experience in B2B sales leadership, preferably within the financial technology or data analytics sector.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving significant revenue growth.
- Deep understanding of the financial services industry, particularly equity and fixed income trading.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a proven ability to build rapport with C-level executives.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience leading and motivating a team to achieve ambitious goals.
- Understanding of the business landscape and regulatory environment in the UK & EMEA region is highly desirable.
