About the Job
A global asset management firm is seeking an ETF Sales Associate to join its Sales team, based in London. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and competitive individual to support ETF distribution across European territories.
The position is well suited to a driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, performance-oriented environment and is eager to build strong client relationships while developing deep knowledge of ETFs and financial markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Support regional sales activity by working alongside senior sales colleagues to grow ETF distribution across assigned territories.
- Proactively engage prospective and existing clients through outbound calls, email, and digital channels to build relationships and secure meetings.
- Manage high levels of outbound activity while maintaining strong follow-up and client engagement.
- Build trusted client relationships through regular communication and the use of market insights and educational materials.
- Handle inbound client enquiries, including product information, fund comparisons, and portfolio-related requests.
- Support and attend client meetings, events, and hospitality to strengthen long-term relationships.
Market Knowledge & Product Expertise
- Develop strong knowledge of the firm’s ETF range and investment solutions.
- Stay up to date with market developments, industry trends, and competitor activity to support informed client conversations.
- Share relevant market intelligence with colleagues to support broader sales efforts.
- CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records within the CRM system.
- Track calls, meetings, and opportunities to support effective pipeline management and reporting.
Required Experience & Skills
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Demonstrable success in a competitive environment (sales, sport, or other performance-driven roles).
- Strong interest in financial markets and investing, with a desire to continuously develop technical knowledge.
- Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with clients via phone, video, and in-person meetings.
- Proven ability to influence, build rapport, and convert opportunities.
Qualifications
- Relevant experience in sales, client relationship management, or business development is advantageous.
- Financial services knowledge is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided.
