Quant Capital is recruiting a Graduate Trading Technology Engineer for a leading proprietary trading firm based in London.

The firm combines advanced technology, applied mathematics, and rigorous research to trade global financial markets. This role blends technical development, analytical problem-solving, and live trading support. You will help ensure trading systems operate smoothly while contributing tools, automation, and process improvements that support quantitative strategies.

Working with traders, quants, and engineering teams, you will monitor trading systems, investigate issues, assist with strategy rollouts, and streamline workflows through automation. The role provides early exposure to live trading environments and suits a graduate who enjoys numerical problem-solving, fast-paced decision-making, and building practical technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical and functional support to traders and researchers
• Develop and maintain internal tools, automation, and trading-related applications
• Assist with testing, validation, and deployment of new releases and strategy changes
• Analyse system metrics and trading data to identify root causes of issues
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance system robustness and performance

Requirements

• STEM degree from a strong academic institution
• Strong numerical, logical, and analytical skills
• Excellent Excel and data-handling ability
• Interest and some experience in programming or technical problem solving
• Familiarity with Linux or technical systems is beneficial
• Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, time-critical environments
• Strong interest in financial markets and trading technology
