We are looking for a Senior MEMS Design Engineer to join a leading technology company developing microphone solutions for the world’s leading consumer devices. This role is based in the vibrant and beautiful city of Edinburgh.

In this role, the Senior MEMS Design Engineer will work on world-class R&D for MEMS microphone applications, specifically developing MEMS (microelectromechanical systems) from concept to production. The Senior MEMS Design Engineer will model structures both analytically and using COMSOL, and will work in conjunction with other team members based in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Essential for this role is extensive industrial experience of gyroscope / accelerometer sensors.

The right candidate will have:

• A University degree within Electronic Engineering or related field
• Experience of designing MEMS devices and test structures
• Experience within simulation (Spice/Cadence/Matlab) would be desirable
• Experience using COMSOL/FEA would also be preferred.
