Team Leader – Principal / Associate Structural Engineer

Leeds (Hybrid – up to 2 days from home)

£55,000–£65,000 (Negotiable depending on experience)

Are you a structural engineer ready to take the next step into leadership?

We’re looking for an experienced and people-focused engineer to lead a talented team in Leeds — delivering projects that shape the region’s skyline across healthcare, education, residential, leisure, and commercial sectors.

You’ll manage and mentor a team of 5–8 engineers and technicians, balancing technical excellence with people development. The role offers genuine scope to influence strategy, drive innovation, and help shape the next generation of engineers.

What We’re Looking For

✅ Chartered or near-chartered (MIStructE or MICE)

✅ Around 10+ years’ experience in structural design and project delivery

✅ A natural leader who enjoys developing others

✅ Strong communicator with a collaborative mindset

✅ Keen to grow within a supportive, employee-owned environment
