This is a high-impact role where you’ll help ensure the integrity and success of a complex, multi-disciplinary project.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Act as an independent technical authority, reviewing supplier progress and performance.
- Identify and assess risks, providing clear recommendations to keep the program on track.
- Collaborate with a team of seasoned engineers across multiple disciplines, contributing your expertise while engaging with specialists to resolve complex challenges.
Your focus will be on two key areas:
- Space Segment Verification – Oversee acceptance of space segment requirements and system-level compliance.
- Firmware/DSP – Provide assurance on digital hardware development, including FPGAs, programmable devices, and signal processing systems.
Key Responsibilities
Space Segment Verification
- Evaluate verification plans, processes, and documentation.
- Coordinate reviews of evidence for requirement closure.

- Monitor hardware development, manufacturing, and testing activities.
- Track progress and highlight risks to stakeholders.
About You
- Eligible for UK security clearance, ideally with prior experience on government or defense projects.
- Strong background in systems engineering with knowledge of DSP or satellite payload design.
- Confident in challenging technical assumptions and simplifying complex topics for non-specialists.
- Skilled in stakeholder management and building consensus through clear, evidence-based arguments.
- Comfortable with hybrid working and occasional travel to client and supplier sites.
What We Offer
- Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
- Competitive annual leave with the ability to buy or sell days.
- Award-winning pension scheme.
- Private healthcare coverage.
- Professional development and training opportunities.
- A wide range of lifestyle and wellbeing benefits, including:
