• Site HSE Engineer/Advisor
• Talacre, North Wales
• Negotiable Day Rate | Outside IR35
• ⏱ 5.5 days on site per week
• ⏰ 12+ month contract - Project to last up to 2028

Ceto Talent is partnering with a leading EPC contractor, delivering large-scale and complex energy projects onshore and offshore.

We're looking for an experienced industry professional to join as a site based HSE Advisor / Engineer on this exciting and UK-first Carbon Capture project. You will support the effective development, oversight, and continuous improvement of the safety management system across all engineering and development stages of EPIC projects.

Your responsibilities:

• Driving HSE awareness through workforce engagement and training
• Conducting inspections, monitoring subcontractors, and ensuring equipment compliance
• Managing risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and safe work practices
• Overseeing Permit to Work systems and hazardous material controls
• Reporting HSE performance, tracking KPIs, and supporting investigations
• Promoting environmental compliance and sustainability on site

What are we looking for?

• Education: Qualification in HSE or engineering related field, Nebosh diploma
• Experience: Several years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry and onshore projects with activities in construction design regulation management and survery/investigation
• Certification: ISO 45001 Lead Auditor
