Platform Engineer (AWS / Kubernetes / Terraform)

Central London (2-3 days in-office)

£65,000 – £75,000 + 10% bonus

Are you a Platform or Cloud Engineer who loves ownership, modern tech, and actually seeing the impact of your work?

This is a chance to join a small, high-impact Cloud Infrastructure team inside a fast-growing, tech-first financial services organisation. You’ll be responsible for running, scaling and improving the cloud platforms that power real, customer-facing products used by hundreds of thousands of people every day.

What you’ll be working on

• AWS-based environments supporting mission-critical, customer-facing applications
• Kubernetes (EKS) clusters in production
• Infrastructure as Code with Terraform
• Highly available, scalable platforms used for current accounts and investment products
• Secrets and access management (Vault exposure a bonus)

Tech you’ll need

Essential

• AWS (EC2, VPC, IAM, Load Balancers, Lambda, API Gateways)
• Kubernetes (EKS) – real production experience
• Terraform (hands-on, not just running other people’s modules)

Nice to have

• HashiCorp Vault
• Helm, Karpenter, KEDA, Linkerd or Istio

What they’re looking for

• 3–5+ years of experience in Cloud / Platform / DevOps engineering
• Strong Kubernetes exposure in production environments
• Confidence owning infrastructure and driving improvements
• Someone who enjoys autonomy, collaboration, and problem-solving
• Financial services experience is nice, but not required
