The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Post Sales Engineer to join a growing team. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical or electrical engineering, preferably with experience in a manufacturing environment.

As a Post Sales Engineer, you will provide both technical and administrative support across all aftercare activities, including regular communication with global customers, handling inquiries, and preparing detailed proposals. You will join a dedicated team focused on delivering exceptional customer support and service while contributing to key revenue and margin goals.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional, timely responses to customer inquiries.
• Offer commercial and technical assistance, including spare parts identification, provision of drawings, parts lists, and general technical support.
• Proactively identify and secure additional business opportunities, including enquiries and orders.
• Prepare proposals and negotiate commercial terms to gain business through repairs, refurbishments, upgrades, and modpacks for existing machines.
• Ensure all relevant information is accurately recorded in ERP and CRM systems to maintain smooth process flow.
• Manage projects, including resource allocation, to achieve successful completion.
• Work on proactive initiatives to increase opportunities for spare parts, reconditioning, upgrades, and contract sales.
• Provide costing support within the procurement framework, including sourcing components to maximise margins.
• Work in accordance with company procedures, guidelines, and terms of reference.
• Carry out additional tasks within the competence of the role as required.

Candidate Requirements

Experienced working in a technical aftercare and post support environment

Mechanical or electrical engineering background

Good understanding of technical drawings

Excellent Microsoft Office skills

Experience with MRP/ERP systems

Desirable

Import/export or international experience

CAD experience

Experience in manufacturing

Additional language skills (e.g., French or Spanish)

Salary for this role is competitive and will be discussed during the call.
