The Cruise Retail Academy is recruiting Sales Associates & Specialists for cruise ships worldwide, with opportunities available across Promotions, Beauty, Liquor, Jewellery, and Watch Specialist roles.

This is a unique opportunity to build an international sales career onboard cruise ships, representing globally recognised brands while delivering high-energy, guest-focused retail experiences in a truly global environment.

This role sits at the intersection of sales performance, brand storytelling, and world-class hospitality.

The Role

As a Sales Associate or Specialist onboard a cruise ship, you will engage guests from around the world, present premium products with confidence, and contribute to strong commercial results in a fast-paced, multicultural setting.

Depending on your experience and product background, you may work across general retail or within a specialist category, including beauty, fine jewellery, watches, liquor, or promotional sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage guests through confident, friendly, and professional sales interactions
• Present and sell products across retail and specialist categories
• Deliver brand-led storytelling, demonstrations, and product knowledge
• Support promotional events, activations, and onboard sales initiatives
• Maintain excellent visual standards and merchandising presentation
• Deliver outstanding guest service aligned with cruise and brand standards
• Accurately process sales and follow onboard procedures
• Work collaboratively within an international, multicultural team

About You

• Sales Associate or Retail Assistant
• Promotions Host or Brand Ambassador
• Beauty Advisor or Specialist
• Liquor or Spirits Specialist
• Jewellery or Watch Sales Professional

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in retail, luxury retail, hospitality, beauty, jewellery, watches, liquor, or customer-facing sales
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence engaging guests and building rapport quickly
• A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
• Sales-driven mindset with a strong focus on guest experience
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to live and work onboard a cruise ship for contract periods of up to 6–8 months

Cruise experience is an advantage but not essential — full training and brand onboarding are provided.
