Sales Account Manager – Data Centre Cooling & Power (UK & Ireland)

Spencer Ogden is looking for a Sales Account Manager – Data Centre Cooling & Power (UK & Ireland)

Job description

Sales Account Manager – Data Centre Cooling & Power (UK & Ireland)

This is a high-impact commercial role in the fast-evolving AI and high-density data-centre infrastructure market. We’re partnering with a global technology business whose liquid cooling and intelligent power solutions are being deployed to support the next generation of AI, HPC and high-density compute environments across the UK & Ireland.

As investment accelerates and customer demand increases, they are now strengthening their UK based field-sales team with a Sales Account Manager to own and grow a defined territory.

This role sits within an established European sales organisation and works closely with engineering, project delivery and product teams to drive revenue across complex, technically demanding data-centre environments.

This role will resonate if you have already:

  • Sold technical solutions into data centres, critical infrastructure or complex built environments
  • Managed and grown a sales territory, owning pipeline, customer relationships and revenue delivery
  • Worked with colocation providers, hyperscalers, consultants, contractors, or end users,
  • Enjoyed being in the field, engaging customers face-to-face and acting as a trusted commercial partner
  • Built credibility by understanding the technical “why”, not just the commercial “what”

The commercial challenge

You will own a UK & Ireland sales territory, with responsibility for developing new business and growing existing accounts across:

  • High-density liquid cooling (HDLC) solutions
  • Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) and manifolds
  • Rear-door heat exchangers (RDHx)
  • Intelligent PDUs and related white-space infrastructure

These solutions are designed specifically to address the power density, thermal constraints and deployment challenges created by AI and high-performance compute workloads.

Your customers will include hyperscalers, colocation providers, enterprise data-centre operators, consultants, contractors and channel partners, where cooling and power complexity is increasing rapidly and solution-led selling is essential.

Why this role is different

  • A genuine territory ownership role with remote autonomy and accountability
  • Exposure to market-leading cooling and power technologies at the forefront of AI infrastructure
  • Strong technical support from in-house engineering and solutions teams
  • A business investing heavily in data-centre growth across the UK & Europe
  • Competitive base salary, uncapped bonus and full benefits package
  • This is not a transactional sales role. It’s suited to someone who wants to build long-term customer value, grow with a business that is scaling, and operate in a market where technical understanding and commercial skill genuinely matter.
