Flourish are on the hunt for a mid-level SDR for our client in the Data Infrastructure and AI space. This is a chance to work with a global leader who are breaking the mould of cloud native data platforms.

£35k Basic

£12k-£18k OTE (uncapped)


Position Overview

This is a Senior Sales Development Representative (SDR) role for a Consulting service requiring strong client-facing skills with a proactive, self-driven highly motivated mentality seek out new business opportunities. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in driving our sales pipeline, optimising our outreach processes, supporting our sales team with new client acquisition and client research.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new sales opportunities through targeted outbound prospecting activities.
  • Book sales meetings for the sales team, aligned with the company’s Software & Support revenue lines.
  • Conduct cold calls, cold emails, and social selling to initiate contact with prospects.
  • Personalise messaging to resonate with the prospect’s pain points and industry.
  • Use sequences or cadences to maintain consistent follow-up.
  • Take the lead in assisting and guiding senior colleagues from non-sales departments in their outreach activities.
  • Conduct initial discovery calls with potential clients to understand their data challenges and needs
  • Conduct prospect research in support of pipeline activity
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities in our Hubspot
  • Achieve monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and scheduled meetings
  • Help streamline sales processes and workflows to increase efficiency


Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical audiences
  • 1+ years experience in B2B Sales.
  • Degree in a technical or business-related field.
  • Ability to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • CRM proficiency


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with sales automation tools and processes in a tech services environment
  • Project management experience is a bonus.
  • Knowledge of the value of data & analytics tools and ability to create compelling data stories
  • Understanding of sales methodologies (e.g., BANT and MEDDIC)
  • Familiarity with the SaaS, Data product, data engineering and analytics services market landscape, especially in target industries.
