Radio Frequency Design Engineer

Job description

Copello have partnered with an established engineering business in the recruitment of an experienced RF Design Engineer to join a team developing advanced RF and analogue electronic solutions for high-impact, mission-critical applications.

What you’ll do

• Design, simulate, and develop RF and analogue circuits across a wide frequency range
• Integrate, test, and debug RF systems to optimise performance
• Contribute to design reviews, technical documentation, and risk management
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams in an agile engineering environment
• Support project delivery through accurate estimation, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement
• Mentor junior engineers and promote best engineering practices

What you’ll bring

• Degree in Electronics Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• Proven experience in RF circuit and system design
• Strong skills with RF simulation and PCB design tools
• Hands-on experience with RF test equipment and lab integration
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively on complex technical challenges

Desirable

• Experience from LF to X-band designs
• Knowledge of receivers, LNAs, and high-power amplifiers
• Exposure to low SWaP-C solutions and harsh environments
• Familiarity with regulated or defence-related engineering domains
