Job Title: Area Specification Sales Manager (M62 Corridor)

Reports To: National Sales Manager, UK & Ireland


Overview:


The Area Specification Sales Manager plays a crucial role in driving specification, demand creation, and commercial market success within an assigned geographical region. This position is responsible for influencing key decision-makers, developing strong relationships with Specifiers and Architects, and ensuring my client’s solutions are positioned as the first choice in the market.

We are seeking a driven, collaborative, and customer-centric individual who is ambitious, persistent, and dedicated to providing a best-in-class experience to all stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Maximise sales growth by securing specification and creating demand for my clients commercial solutions
  • Win business through development and conversion of specified projects
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of area contacts, opportunities, and project activities
  • Develop and implement strong closing techniques to secure specifications through strategic influence
  • Engage all relevant stakeholders within the buying centre to drive business success
  • Elevate market awareness of the full commercial product portfolio via presentations and CPDs
  • Build strong relationships primarily with Specifiers, Architects, and design departments within regional and national contractors
  • Establish effective working relationships with trade associations, industry bodies, and regulatory organisations
  • Focus on pipeline development and project conversion to consistently achieve targets
  • Conduct site visits and surveys, including working at height where required
  • Maintain brand relevance and strengthen my clients market share and reputation
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the business to deliver strategic goals and company objectives
  • Identify and share market intelligence and leads with appropriate internal teams
  • Perform any additional duties reasonably requested in line with the role
