Multi-skilled Engineer
Location: Snetterton (commutable from Thetford, Attleborough, Snetterton, Wymondham, Diss, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds, Dereham, Brandon, Watton, and surrounding areas)
Are you an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer looking to join a market-leading FMCG manufacturer?

We’re seeking a proactive engineer who thrives in a busy production setting, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance while contributing to continuous improvement and engineering projects.
What you’ll do:
Working a rotational shift pattern (6 am–2 pm, 2 pm–10 pm, 10 pm–6 am), you will:
• Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) on processing, production, packaging, and site facilities equipment
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults efficiently
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and reactive maintenance requests
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with engineering projects
• Maintain accurate CMMS records
• Work with equipment including mixers, check-weighers, fillers, flow-wrappers, and conveyors
What we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-skilled engineer who can work independently, use initiative, and communicate effectively. You will:
• Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• Possess a stand-alone electrical qualification (essential)
• Have prior experience as a multi-skilled engineer within FMCG or manufacturing
• Be familiar with site plant and facilities maintenance
• Ideally have exposure to TPM, WCM, or Lean methodologies
• Demonstrate strong numeracy, analytical, and problem-solving skills
