Senior / Principal RF Design Engineer

Cambridge Area | Hybrid | Permanent

Join a leading UK technology consultancy working at the forefront of RF innovation. Projects span autonomous drones, robotics, ad-hoc radio networks, emergency services communications, IoT sensors, and airborne or space-based radar.

This is a varied, technically challenging role suited to adaptable engineers who enjoy solving complex problems and working across multiple sectors.

The Role

• Design, develop, and test RF-based systems and products
• Take concepts through to prototype and commercial deployment
• Work closely with multi-disciplinary engineering teams
• Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients
• Use state-of-the-art RF labs and test equipment

Key Skills

• MEng (or equivalent) in Electronic Engineering or related discipline
• Strong RF, microwave, and analogue design & simulation skills
• Experience with RF circuits such as amplifiers, filters, and frequency synthesis
• Proven end-to-end design experience

Desirable: Radio/radar systems, leadership experience, digital design, mm-wave
